My set of bowls is a Chakra set, which in the world of music means that they are the white keys on a piano ~ C, D, E, F, G, A, & B. During my Level 2 Certification Training one of our assignments was to name our set of bowls. Immediately the name “Energy of Love” came to me. Since my bowls focus on the chakras (which are the energy centers in & around our body) and all of them (with the exception my low B bowl) are tuned to 528 hz it seemed like “Energy of Love” was the perfect description. When we exchange energies with other people, don’t we all want it to be an energy based on love?

I chose my first 3 bowls in person, immediately following my training while I was still in California. I thought I was going to go with an Endocrine based set (the black keys on the piano). However, when Jeralyn and I began talking through my thoughts and feelings about the bowls, she pulled a bowl off of her shelves that was an Ocean Indium bowl tuned to the note of D (a white piano key) and said to me “Play this bowl and tell me what you think.” It was SO incredible! That bowl just sang and sang for me. The ocean being my happy place, even though Ocean Indium is a rare metal, seemed like this was the perfect starting point.

During our certification training we learned all about the benefits and science of playing bowls in octaves (which can be both grounding and accelerating/expanding) & intervals of the fourths and fifths (these are sacred ratios, discovered by Pythagoras in ancient Greece, which is very calming, soothing, relaxing & regenerating for the body).

After I was set on the Ocean Indium D bowl Jeralyn suggested the octave of a high D note and then the G note which would create an interval of the 4th (low D to G) and an interval of the 5th (G to high D). She selected a few of each, G and high D bowls. What we landed on was pure divine selection. My G note was a Grandfather (a rare metal) and my high D note was a Grandmother (a rare metal). Something of note, my maternal Grandparents were 2 of my biggest supporters in my life, with my Grandmother being my best friend. To top it off, the Grandmother bowl at the high D is for your 9th Chakra which is your Soul’s Purpose, which these bowls helped me to find.

The process for me to select my Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls was a very personal one. As it should be, for anyone really. Therefore, I was hesitant after having selected my first 3 bowls in person, with Jeralyn, how I was going to be able to accomplish the same connection and get a feel for the bowls if I wasn’t actually there in person. Aside from the fact that it would have been quite costly for me to fly to California (from Ohio) every time I wanted to make a purchase, since the pandemic hit shortly after I had gone to my training, I was, by default, forced to experience the bowl selection process virtually. I can honestly say that if it were anyone other than Jeralyn helping me to select my bowls, I’m not certain that it would have gone as perfectly or if my bowl set would have matched so divinely. She is a true crystal singing bowl master and I have so much gratitude for her patience, intuition and knowledge.

Each purchase, after my initial set of 3, was like adding pieces to a puzzle. While I didn’t know what the final picture was going to look like, I trusted and had faith that the bowls that were meant to be with me would come to me in the right order and in the right time. I am so in love with my “Energy of Love” set of Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls! What I love even more is that these bowls are so unique that no one in the world has the exact same bowls as me, which just proves that these bowls were meant to come together for me to play them and share them, so I may help others with them.
